I was near the end before I realized it was the story of Job and in all honesty I would not have read it if I had known. Completely changed my view of the book and so worth the read. I have read all of her to date and they have been exceptional.

Nicole Bart series beginning with After the Leaves Fall
I enjoyed these fictional stories.

The Russian Collection by Michael Phillips and Judith Pella revolves around the lives of a peasant and a princess as the country changes from conflict within & without.
& also
The Journals of Corrie Bell Holister
The two series are totally different, but both are engaging. Corrine Bell is a journal written by a women on a wagon train west.
