I remember reading a Jerry Bridges book where he encourages the reader to preach the gospel daily to themselves, I think this is what he means.
I’ve read elements of this post before, and walk away forgetting what it says (no small indication of my heart), well not so this time!

What a moving, so true account about Peter, the rock.
Of course, what a marvelous change to his ‘handle’!!
I have your books. I must go back for reviews and first reads.
My heart is overflowing with help in better understanding this great apostle. His epistles are so indicative of what spirit lead teaching he left us. My 12/22 – 86th birthday brought about retirement from a meaningful job of 25 years.
So, now on a new path of learning to trust and obey Him is challenging, but oh so rewarding.
Again, many thx for your special talent, serving God thru your years of growing in Him.
Happy Spring. A very rainy introduction to the season here in Hawaii.
