I’m nervous-giggling and high-stepping around my office because in just a few days, we’ll begin to launch “Remarkable Hope: When Jesus Revived Hope in Disappointed People.” (Houston, prepare for lift off!)

What’s the book about?
Remarkable Hope retells the stories of eight hopeful people in the Bible who appeared—at first—to be disappointed by Jesus. Their stories reveal a pattern of being surprised by Jesus in drastic ways. As we observe Christ’s faithful commitment to them, we will be wowed by his unseen plan and revived by his enduring presence. With unexpected methods and surprising gifts, Jesus transforms disappointment into the certainty of remarkable hope. Not only for them, but for us too. We can finally discover what the apostle Paul declared, “our hope does not disappoint us.”

What’s a book launch team?
It’s a group of people gathered online in a private Facebook group to read and share about Remarkable Hope, on social media, blogs, podcasts, and/or in real life with your friends, family, Bible studies and book clubs. My friend Kaitlyn Bouchillion will be our organized and experienced navigator. We’ve planned some simple and effective ways for you to share and we have tools, resources and encouragement to make it easy and fun. You’ll need to be a Facebook user to join us since that’s where all our communication will happen.
How long does it last?
The team will run for 6 weeks from February 4- March 15. Monday through Friday we’ll post a Launch Team Task which can take as little as a few minutes to as much time as you’d like to give to the task. If you skip a day, it’s no biggie 🙂 We all have lives.

2) We have several pre-written blog posts based on adapted excerpts that you can use on your blog as a guest post from me! I’d be so grateful if you’d write your thoughts about a chapter or the book. But if you’d like a guest post from me, we have several you can choose from and pre-made images to boot! Of course you can share about it in any way you choose, and if you’d like to write your own tweets, make your own images, write your own blog post, or record a podcast, we will assist you in every way possible!
3) Would you like to brainstorm, bounce ideas, or get answers about publishing blogging or writing that you’ve felt too timid to ask so far? I’ll be available for 20 minute calls via Facetime, Skype or regular ol’ phone conversation with writers . FRIENDLY DISCLAIMER: Though I earned a college degree, it had nothing to do with writing. My writing credentials are more like “street cred” 😉 based on 7 years of reading agency blogs, attending conferences, networking with professionals online and in person, and receiving a TON of help and education for the past 3 years from the founders and members in Hope*Writers. (Calls will be scheduled AFTER March 15.)
