I’ve arrived at an exciting place in the publishing journey. On July 11 Remarkable Faith

The Book:
During a difficult season of my life (which I will share with my launch team), I was afraid my faith was a terrible disappointment to God. I desperately wanted to have faith that pleased Him, but I was failing at all the most important things.
The Lord led me to the gospels, and I noticed a pattern. The people with the kind of faith Jesus noticed, remarked about, and even marveled at, were not the people I’d expected. They were broken. Needy. Dependent. We know them not by their names but by their afflictions.
So I studied those eight stories in the gospels. Then I retold those stories to myself in writing. Remarkable Faith became a collection of biblical vignettes based on those eight unlikely examples of faith in the gospels. Each vignette has a little history, theology, and fictional detail woven into the biblical accounts which I hope will bring relief, new perspective and intimacy with Jesus to those whose faith feels unremarkable.

The Plan:

FUN:
The launch team will run from June 1 to July 15. During this time you’ll be invited to the Remarkable Faith Facebook Group. The closed Facebook group will be a place where we discuss and encourage one another with the fact that remarkable faith is not measured by how much you achieve for God, but by how much you’ve received from him. The Facebook group will be our central location for communication and sharing.
Based on feedback I’ve already received, I’m planning (with fear and trepidation!!) to go LIVE in our Facebook group to share the story behind why I wrote it. I’d also love to discuss the chapters with you or answer questions you have about the book or the process.
FLEXIBLE:
The Facebook group will also be a central location where you’ll get quick and easy ways to share on social media about Remarkable Faith. This will include shareable images, pre-written posts and tweets, and additional content related to the book.
There will be a couple specific tasks per week that I’d need your help with. There are a multitude of things you could do, but we know life gets busy and things change in the blink of an eye. To make it simple for you, my innovative book-launch guru, Lindsey Hartz, is utilizing a new tool called Social Toaster which makes sharing and posting extremely quick and easy for you, so you can be back to your summer fun in a jiffy! We want this launch team to be fun, flexible, and rewarding.
Of course you can share about it in any way you choose, and if you’d like to write your own tweets, make your own images, write a blog post, or do a podcast, we will assist you in every way possible!

Cindy Lambert of the Somersault Group has also agreed to host a live call to answer pre-submitted questions. Cindy is an honest encourager with loads of experience. She helped me refine my proposal and understand what publishers need to see. (And here’s a breath of fresh air…she did not tell me I needed 10,000 Facebook fans–although I know she would agree it’s helpful 🙂 ) A little peek at her bio:
